Coatings are applied to the inside and outside of aluminum and steel food and beverage cans to protect the contents, and to prevent scratches on the surface of the cans. Coating and lacquers are chosen for their anti-scratching, easy processing, anti-corrosion, and insulation abilities, and to protect the contents’ hygiene and flavor. Environmentally-friendly, water-based coatings and coatings without bisphenol A (BPA) are also available.
