Sencon is an independent, family-owned group, exclusively dedicated to the metal packaging sector. With a strong reputation for technical expertise and innovation, we offer solutions for improving product quality, efficiency, and reducing costs on metal packaging lines. We design, manufacture and supply specialized sensors for machine and line control, on- and off-line test and inspection systems, and advanced gauges for measurement and quality assurance of cans, ends/lids, bottle cans, aerosols, and metal tubes.
Founded in 1976 in Chicago, USA, Sencon began designing and manufacturing capacitative and inductive sensors for DWI can handling systems. Now, nearly 50 years later with R&D and manfacturing operations in the USA and UK, and a sales and support office in Brazil, our product range has grown to include line and machine control sensors, test and inspection systems, and metrology gauges – all designed specifically for the metal packaging industry.
