COATINGS
MEASUREMENT

Coatings are applied to the inside and outside of aluminum and steel food and beverage cans to protect the contents, and to prevent scratches on the surface of the cans. Coating and lacquers are chosen for their anti-scratching, easy processing, anti-corrosion, and insulation abilities, and to protect the contents’ hygiene and flavor. Environmentally-friendly, water-based coatings and coatings without bisphenol A (BPA) are also available.

Sencon offers a range of coatings measurement gauges including the fully automatic optical coatings gauge which is capable of complete 360 degree measurement, and semi-automatic benchtop units for beverage, food, and aerosol cans, with enamel raters for both cans and ends.
