O Avaliador de Verniz Semiautomático da Sencon verifica a integridade da laca em latas e tampas usando o teste de condutividade, padrão na indústria. Uma pequena voltagem segura é aplicada entre um eletrólito (fluido condutor) dentro da lata e o corpo da lata. O fluxo de corrente resultante indica a quantidade de exposição do metal causada por quaisquer imperfeições na laca.
