MLT™ 2.0 is our second generation on- or off-line micro leak detector for beverage and food ends. It has been specially developed to improve user operation, ease of maintenance, cost of ownership and up-time. The all-new touch screen HMI gives users instant information about the system performance, production data and diagnostic support.

HIGH SENSITIVITY

MLT’s air pressure test offers the most practical and economic solution for detecting micro-leaks in metal ends, achieving the best balance between sampling speed, sensitivity and running costs. With improved test chamber dynamics that hold the end to create the best seal, MLT™ 2.0 is able to achieve detection rates as low as 0.01cc/sec, which is twice as sensitive as previous versions.

LOW FALSE REJECTS

False rejects waste time through unnecessary investigation. Sencon's MLT™ 2.0 micro leak detector works by default at realistic detection thresholds, while the intelligent software actively monitors background noise and dynamically adjusts the threshold to operate at maximum sensitivity while ensuring up to 6-Sigma false reject performance.

HIGH SAMPLING RATE

The online MLT™ can test 2% of production output with a press speed of 850 ends per minute per lane.

LOW MAINTENANCE, LOW RUNNING COSTS

MLT™ only needs regular wiping of the test chamber seals to run reliably.

INTELLIGENT SAMPLING FOR COMPLETE PROTECTION

Sampling at fixed intervals can result in ends being tested from only one group of belt pockets. To avoid this the on-line MLT™ has an option called 'walk the belt', which varies the sampling rate to ensure that lids from every belt pocket are sampled. In this mode the average sample rate is 15 lids per minute, but protection against faulty product is greater.

FLEXIBLE INSTALLATION AND MODULAR EXPANSION

MLT is a modular system, enabling budgeted purchases and fully compatible system expansion. From 1 to 4 heads can be installed to suit different press configurations.
