TEMPERATURE LOGGING SYSTEMS

Gives a complete and accurate picture of your coating curing processes to help optimize ovens and control energy usage and costs

CANMAKING
OVENS & DRYERS

Heat processing ovens for the food, beverage and aerosol can manufacturers are used at various stages throughout the can making process. From Dry Off Ovens that dry the internal and external surfaces of cans after the washer to Internal Bake Ovens (IBO) and Outside Bake Ovens (OBO) which bake on the various coatings, lacquers, inks and varnishes that are applied prior to filling. But all these can making ovens have one thing in common – they all need surface temperature monitoring of cans passing through them, in real-time to ensure the correct running and prevent energy wastage.

Sencon’s oven logger (SL2000) is a data logger that records the changes in the surface temperature of coated metal in real time as it passes through a curing oven. Adaptors allow the logger to be used with both beverage and food cans as they go through the Pin Oven and IBO (Internal Bake Oven) or OBO (Outside Bake Oven). The logger can also be used to monitor the temperature inside the dryer after the washer on beverage can lines.
