End Counting Sensors

Allows production or spoilage data to be precisely monitored with 100% confidence

A highly accurate sensor for counting beverage or food ends with the ability to compensate for the backup, jiggling, and surging that occurs as ends pass the sensor. Sencon's famous count accuracy is possible thanks to our custom microchip design and advanced sensing technology. Conservative count accuracies of 30 per 1,000,000 are quoted, but actual accuracies achieved by users are often much higher.

By sensing the direction of flow, ends that surge forward or back do not affect the count

COUNTS ALL TYPES OF ENDS

Very reliable results are achieved on a wide range of beverage and food container ends including conventional and easy open ends. The sensor successfully counts both bright and dull ends, including gold and black.

UNIDIRECTIONAL SENSING

By sensing the direction of end flow, ends that are pushed forward or surge back in the reverse direction are taken into account without affecting the overall count. Even stationary ends that shake and jiggle in front of the sensor will not create a miscount. The default direction of flow (right to left or left to right) is selectable via buttons on the sensor.

OUTPUT DIVIDER FUNCTION

A remote 'divide-by' feature allows the number of counts to be divided by either 1, 2, or 10, making it possible to slow the count to an acceptable speed/frequency for use with low resolution counters.
