Auto Embossed Can Gauge
The fully automatic and programmable Embossed Can Gauge measures the depth, registration and phasing of embossing on beverage cans. Its graphical interface gives operators a clear diagrammatic view of embossed features and any problems with tooling alignment.

The Embossed Can Gauge makes three types of measurement:
Emboss Depth
Checks the depth of the emboss feature either linearly or radially.
Emboss registration
Checks the alignment of the emboss feature with the registration mark, which is very important to ensure the correct registration of the embossing and the decoration.
Easy To Learn, Easy To Run
Self-learning technology needs no programming skills and removes the risk of incorrect set-up. Controlled by three push buttons, the system is easy for operators to work with.
Emboss Phasing
Checks the alignment of internal and external emboss tooling, to ensure the quality of the embossing process. This eliminates tooling damage and leakers caused by alignment errors which crimp, crack or over stress the metal can walls.
