Tab Verifier is a missing tab and double sheel detector specifically developed to help reduce downtime on conversion presses.

Everything is quick disconnect:
- True for the cables that connect to the sensors.
- True for the connection of the cable into the main electronics module
- True for the electronics module itself within the controller.
All of this helps users to quickly replace an item in case of a suspected problem.
Quick calibration, no need to adjust detection tolerances - Calibration is initiated from an input, there are no adjustments needed. The unique capability of the Tab Verifier allows instantaneous calibration to an accuracy difficult to obtain manually.
Material independent. No adjustments needed - Compatible with both aluminium and steel ends/tabs. The SC240 will work with any combination of al/ steel tab and shell without any settings. It will work equally well with beverage or food ends.
No need to re-calibrate after a cable change - Other systems use the sensor cable as part of the sensing circuit. That means that with a different cable you have to set up the whole sensor again. This is not necessary for the Tab verifier as the sensor head carries out the detection algorithms internally. The cable just transmits a coded signal and it's length has no effect on the readings.
Small sensor dimensions
for easy mounting
The sensors are the same diameter as other similar sensors, but approximately.
6 mm (0.24") shorter than any other sensor on the market. This allows it to fit the standard mounting but the shorter length makes the Sencon system easier to install.

Visual indications on the controller - for good/bad objects, calibration in progress, and error states. Each sensor on each lane of the press has its own dedicated status indicators.
Modular system - one controller serves up to four lanes, with the option for double shell detection as well as missing tab detection. This dramatically reduces the space occupied by the system.
More diagnostics - When a problem occurs you have downtime; the more diagnostic information you get from the system the quicker the fault can be rectified. The Tab Verifier displays up to 12 messages allowing problems to be located fast.
