Spray Verifier SC7100

This unique mis-spray detection sensor uses multi-zoned inspection of internal spray on 100% of production to detect mis-sprayed and poorly sprayed cans.
Detects the widest range of coating errors, including:
- Self calibrating, self learning, adjustment free.
- Bad cans are stopped at the spray machine, reducing spoilage.
- No sorting or line shut-downs, helps increased process efficiency.
- Improved product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Easy clean, user replaceable inspection window.
- Inspects wet lacquer immediately after the LSM.
- Total gun failure
- Mis-spinner or non-spinner
- Spluttering gun
- Incorrect fan pattern
- Spray gun timing issues
- Short spray
- Dome spot
- Partial spray
- Contamination or de-wetting
Multiple side wall inspection zones plus dome zone inspection - the only way you can be sure that every can is effectively coated.
Direct Verification of Internal Spray
Systems that monitor the spray gun parameters can only infer a correct spray pattern from the data they receive from the gun and the control system. Sencon's Spray Verifier is the only sensor on the market that inspects the actual spray delivery into each can.
Multi-zoned Inspection
The SC7100 quantitatively measures the brightness of each can in distinct zones - some dedicated to assessing the top wall coverage while others assess the overall can and dome coverage. A distinct 'signature' for each can is generated and statistical data analysis automatically sets control limits that are used to determine a defective can.
Detect and Reject
Spray Verifier can be configured either to stop the offending spray machine or reject the bad can from the line. This helps ensure maximum process efficiency.
* The earlier SC7000 Mis-Spray Detector uses a simpler approach to identify wholly or significantly unsprayed cans.
