Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment

In support of our environmental goals, Sencon run a product recycling policy within Europe that complies with the European Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).

We recommend that customers dispose of redundant electrical and electronic equipment that is marked with the WEEE dustbin symbol (shown above) through an appropriate local recycling agency.

Sencon branded equipment may alternatively be returned to the company where it will be handled in an environmentally safe manner using processes that comply with the WEEE Directive. We will accept all Sencon branded electronic test, measurement and monitoring products.

Shipping costs of redundant goods for recycling are the responsibility of the sender. If the product to be returned is a system that requires dismantling, the customer is responsible for all expenses associated with the dismantling and removal of the system.
